Friends, colleagues, alumni of the “Art of Being” School, partners, and supporters of the crowdfunding campaign are invited to the screening. Registration is required.
September 28, 15:00 MSK (for friends and crowdfunding supporters)
September 29, 15:00 MSK (for partners and representatives of art venues)
Registration is open here.
The event will last 2,5 hours (performance duration 1 hour + discussion).
The organizers of the screening aim to:
The performance “Being Russian 2022-2024” could become an artistic impetus for collective examination of contemporary societal issues, preventing biased and distorted attitudes towards Russian citizens in France and around the world, and raising public interest in the psychological aspects of forced emigration. The Russian case is just one among many, and by generalizing this experience, it will be possible to offer support to various groups of emigrants and victims of discrimination.
Support the crowdfunding campaign and receive exclusive acknowledgments, including your name in the credits, access to behind-the-scenes materials, and an invitation to the private screening.
Please email artofbeing.team@gmail.com if you would like to invite us for a tour and get more information.

The organizers of the screening aim to:
- Share inspiration and discuss the creation process of the performance. Publicly thank the musicians who supported the idea of creating the performance – Manizha, Yana Ostas, Alena Gita, Estas Tonne, Veda Ram, Lina Aurum. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the ideas raised in the performance and share their impressions and thoughts. For students and emerging artists, this will be a valuable source of inspiration and experience. For the author, feedback will help improve the project and make it stronger for future performances.
- Draw attention to the crowdfunding campaign. The project team was able to complete the performance production on time thanks to patron Ivan Galiatin. You can now contribute to the post-production through the crowdfunding platform, which will help us continue the project's development and bring it to your city or country faster.
- Build partnerships with theaters and art spaces in countries that have received significant waves of Russian emigration, to arrange additional performances or video broadcasts of the performance there. After the screening, participants will discuss tour and collaboration opportunities. If you represent an organization, cultural center, or festival, this is a great opportunity to start a dialogue.
